The origins of the house and its possible relation with the castle are unknown but it is estimated that it may be 300 years old at least in its oldest part.
The opening of the house “Casa do Castelo de Andrade” took more than a year and a half of a respectful restoration of the buildings and a complete recovery of the landscape after 40 years of a complete neglected state.
