How get on?
At Casa do Castelo de Andrade you can arrive easily taking the exit 21F of the Freeway “AP-9” in Pontedeume. Then you take the N-651 road in direction to A Coruña-Betanzos, crossing the old stone bridge. You leave the village of Pontedeume at you right and continue the same road during 3 kilometres of constant climb. At the end of the hill, you have to follow a deflection with a yellow signal that indicates: “Ruta Turística Castelo de Andrade”. From here all the deflections are signalized with indicators of “Castelo de Andrade”. After one kilometre of slight ascent, in the place of Os Loureiros, you have another deflection to the left with the signals “Castelo de Andrade”. You rise two kilometres between pines and eucalyptuses until it appears an opened zone of meadows. Here the speed is reduced because, at 300 meters after, it will be necessary to take the last deflection to the left that indicates “Castelo de Andrade”. At 400 meters of this narrow road you will find at hand right the entrance of the property of the rural house “Casa do Castelo de Andrade”, it’s a private cement road very raised.

¡CUIDADO!: El GPS puede recomendar enlazar la A-6 con la AC-151 en el Km. 549. Es el camino más corto, pero el trazado y el firme de esta carretera comarcal es, por ahora, malo. Se recomienda, de momento, enlazar la A-6 con la autopista AP-9 en dirección Ferrol en el Km. 568 (es la segunda salida que indica Ferrol. La primera es por la N-651 y atravesando la ciudad de Betanzos). Ya en la autopista en dirección Ferrol, se debe coger la salida Pontedeume.
