How to get to Casa do Castelo de Andrade?
One of the quickest ways is using Waze or Google Maps. If you have trouble finding the house, we recommend following our directions.
The house’s location is: Longitude: W 08º 07′ 56′‘ – Latitude: N 43º 23′ 29.
You can reach Casa do Castelo de Andrade from Pontedeume via the N-651 highway.
Leave the town in the direction of A Coruña-Betanzos on the N-651 (do not turn off at the gas station) for 3 km uphill.
Once at the top, when you reach the Campolongo pass, take the turn marked by a yellow sign indicating: “Ruta Turística Castelo de Andrade” (Andrade Castle Tourist Route). Follow the route, and you will see that all the turns are signposted.
After a gentle 1 km climb, at Os Loureiros, take a left turn signposted “Castelo de Andrade e Taboada.” Continue uphill for 2 km through pine and eucalyptus trees until you reach an open meadow. Slow down and after 300 meters, take the last left turn signposted “Castelo de Andrade.” The entrance to the Casa do Castelo de Andrade estate is about 500 meters further along this same track to the right.
