Invierno

On the days when the Atlantic wind battered the walls of Castelo de Andrade and the mountains were dressed in frost, the inhabitants sought a corner where the cold could stay outside and the soul could gather.

The Winter Room is that refuge. Its bluish walls are not cold, but deep, like the sky on a clear night or like the calm water of a river stopped in its course. The dark wood of the headboard recalls the fire of old homes, and the lamps, with their golden light, seem like embers that illuminate without noise.

Here there is no hurry: winter teaches to stop, to listen to the cadence of time, to accept the shelter of silence. The white bed, clean and generous, is like the snow that covers everything, returning peace to what was once agitated.

Whoever sleeps in Winter discovers a secret: that the cold is not absence, but a guardian. That after each frost, life prepares to be reborn stronger.

That is why this room is called so: because it offers the traveler the same as winter offers the earth, a deep rest, a fertile silence, and the promise of a better awakening.
